THE UNITED NATIONS’ SEVENTEEN GLOBAL GOALS

In 2015 the United Nations defined seventeen global goals of sustainable development (SDGs) as the essential changes necessary to save our planet. These goals concern all areas of life and have been implemented within education guidelines, ecological and economic institutions.

All 193 countries of the United Nations have adopted them and committed themselves to their fulfillment till 2030 – so only 9 years more to go…

Yet, when we look around us we can see that, despite the many activities that have evolved and that aim at reaching the SDGs, their fulfillment has still a very long way to go.
